Try following the link at the top of the blog post to my updated version of this technique:
http://www.e-nor.com/blog/index.php/web-analytics/update-to-an-old-favorite-detailed-ppc-keyword-data-in-google-analytics/

I am told the original technique should still work, and maybe it does for others, but it wasn't working for me but the modified version seems to get the job done so please give it a try.

Hi Angie,

As you know, broad search phrases will get you the most impressions and probably clicks because your keywords will match the largest variety of searches.
Exact phrases wouldn't match anything but what you typed so you won't get any or many negative keywords.

Using broad and the updated version of this profile, you will be able to get quite a large list of negative keywords that will help you optimize your campaigns.

I am learning about the wonderful world of PPC and negative keywords!
Question what would be the best search phrase to use - for negative - exact, phrase or broad?
